Venue Hire & Game Dinners
As mentioned on our homepage, Venue Hire and Parties is a big part of what The Weird Fish is about these days. We are available for parties of any number under 100, christenings, weddings, 21st, Charity Events, you name it we've done it! We also offer outside catering.
We do not have a hire charge, therefore everything is included in your charge per head, which keeps it nice and simple for you and for us! The only extra cost is the bar bill which is at your discretion!
Every event is tailor made for you, your budget, your style, your party and so anything is possible. However, if you would like one of our lovely Venue Hire Packs, full of images of past events and jam packed with a variety of menus designed for past events held at The Weird Fish to give you a better idea of what we do then either call into the restaurant or easier still go to our contact page and email your name and postal address and we shall get a pack out to you in the post A.S.AP!
Our Head Chef frequently creates new and exciting menus, specialising in imaginative Game dishes.
All of the Game we serve is selected according to season, sourced from local estates & shoots and wildfowl from the NorthWest's foreshore.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you, as members of Local Shoots, or guests shooting on neighboring estates, to our restaurant to enjoy our unique cuisine or even to hold your Shoot Dinners or any other social events on yours or your club's calendar with us.
For Shoot Dinners or bookings of twenty people or more a section of the restaurant, or even the entire restaurant for parties of 35, will be at your disposal for the evening. You can relax & enjoy a specially selected menu comprising of home cooked seasonal Game, with a closing of an extensive local cheese assortment complimented by a selection of fine wines, ports and liqueurs.
