Welcome to The Weird Fish’s website. We are open 7 days a week serving Breakfast from 10am-12noon. Lunch and light bites are served from 12noon – 3pm and we serve our A La Carte Menu from 6pm onwards. Our sandwiches, Paninis and Salads are available to take out from 10-3pm everyday. The only exception is on a Sunday when we serve our famous 3 Course Roast and Lunch Menu from 12noon until 7.30pm. We are getting very busy now at all times and so it is advisable to book to avoid any disappointment.

We are accredited by Taste Lancashire as Highest Quality Assured and we can guarantee all dishes are prepared in house daily using only the finest, fresh, local produce. Our contact page gives you the option to get in touch with us through email,phone, post, carrier pigeon, so if it is booking The Weird Fish out for a special event, enquiring about dietary requirements or even to tell us something you would like us to change, please do feel free to get in touch.
We are available for Venue Hire & Outside Catering. We do not charge a hire fee and the restaurant is at your disposal for the whole evening. We create bespoke menus for each event based on each individual customer’s style, occasion and budget. The BBQ on the terrace has been a big it this summer as well as some more traditional buffets. If you would like further details about this and examples of menus we have designed in the past please feel free to contact us via email or pop in and will get one to you straight away.
We still run several offers that are available at different times of the day. Our Morning & Afternoon Coffee Offer is available Monday-Friday from 10am-12noon and 3pm-5pm and for the bargain price of £2.20 you get the choice of a cup of tea or coffee and either a buttered homemade scone or a buttered homemade teacake.
On a Sunday from 12noon right through to 7.30pm in the evening we serve our lunchtime menu alongside our Special’s Board which also holds our roast of the day. When dining from this special’s board you can have 2 courses for £10.95 or three courses for £13.95. Our Sunday Lunches are pretty legendary so please do book as we get very busy!!
Last but not least is the Seasonal Menu, this menu will take the place of our Early Bird but only change quarterly, with the seasons. This menu consists of three courses and you can dine Monday-Thursday 6.00pm-7.30pm from this menu. The menus are created using only seasonal produce available to us locally so that we can keep the costs down for you. Only £15 for two courses and £18.50 for three courses.
A perfect mid week treat on the way home from work without breaking the bank!
